With Portrait Mirror (patented), taking portrait is like looking at the mirror.

Portrait Mirror projects the camera screen in front of the lens, so that the model can see his/her face and look at the lens at the same time.

Model can see his/her face AND look at the lens at the same time.

Portrait Photography

For people who are camera shy, Portrait Mirror immediately makes them relaxed. Think about it, who is nervous in front of a mirror? Portrait Mirror is a device that can benefit most portrait photographers. Your client will look more natural in the photos, easier to take directions from you, and your session can be much more productive.

Self Portrait

Portrait Mirror can also be used as a device to take self portrait. When taking a portrait of yourself, you need to see the camera screen (as a photographer) and look at the lens (as the model) at the same time, this is exactly when a Portrait Mirror comes to play.

Compatibility and Limitation

Portrait Mirror is compatible with digital cameras that have HDMI output. It works best with mirrorless cameras.

Portrait Mirror does not have noticeable impact on image quality. It however requires one extra EV stop of light. For example, with the same shutter and aperture setting, if a regular exposure needs ISO 100, it will need around ISO160 when shooting with a Portrait Mirror.
